Ocean Park is a proposed townhouse community by Foxridge Homes, the homebuilding arm of Qualico, at the corner of 128 Street and 24 Avenue in South Surrey. The land assembly includes 2308 and 2388 128 Street and 12862 24 Avenue, directly across from Crescent Park Elementary and a short drive to Ocean Park Village shops, Crescent Beach and the trails of Crescent Park. This is a low-density, established single-family area, and the project is one of the few new multi-family options in the neighbourhood. The current plan calls for 89 homes: 30 primary-on-the-main townhomes of about 2,400 square feet aimed at downsizers, 39 three-storey townhomes and 20 two-storey townhomes ranging from roughly 1,450 to 1,900 square feet. Every home is planned with a double-car garage, and the site includes 21 visitor stalls. Shared amenities are proposed at about 2,000 square feet indoors, with a fitness room and a party room with a full kitchen, plus 3,700 square feet of outdoor seating and children's play space and a green pathway connecting to the Ocean Park Community Orchard. The project is still working through the City of Surrey approval process. Qualico indicates construction would take approximately two years after final approval, so no firm completion date exists yet. Pricing, bedroom counts and deposit terms have not been released. Buyers can register on the developer's site to receive updates. Ocean Park will appeal to South Surrey and White Rock downsizers who want to stay in the neighbourhood, and to families drawn by the elementary school across the street and the beach lifestyle.
