Semiahmoo Shopping Centre, Peninsula Village and the restaurants of uptown White Rock are within a few blocks, and White Rock beach and pier are a short drive or bike ride down the hill. The R1 RapidBus on King George Boulevard and 152 Street connects the neighbourhood to Surrey Central and King George SkyTrain stations.\n\nThe project comprises 180 concrete homes in a 20-storey tower over a six-storey podium, designed by NSDA Architects. The unit mix includes 6 studios, 6 one-bedrooms, 9 one-bedroom-plus-dens, 51 two-bedrooms, 92 adaptable two-bedrooms and 16 adaptable three-bedrooms, meaning more than 100 homes are designed to support aging in place. Some upper-floor homes are expected to have water views. Interiors feature integrated appliances and kitchen islands in a coastal-inspired palette.\n\nAmenities include a ground-floor fitness centre, a lounge with kitchenette, a landscaped courtyard with fire pit and turf lawn, and a level-seven podium rooftop with a fire pit lounge, lawn, community garden and cafe-style seating. About 4,080 sq ft of commercial space fronts the street at grade, and the building includes an underground parkade and bike storage.\n\nPolygon Homes has built more than 34,000 homes in the Lower Mainland over 40-plus years. Pricing, deposit structure and strata fee estimates have not been released; registration is open at calaisbypolygon.com and early registrants are promised priority access to launch pricing. Completion is estimated for Winter 2027.\n\nCalais is aimed at downsizers and retirees who want a concrete, adaptable home within walking distance of Semiahmoo's services, as well as buyers priced out of White Rock's low-rise strata market.",
